SKIN79 SKETCHED BEAUTIFUL EYES EYELINER:

I saw this liner a few weeks back and thought ....why not?:)Its by Skin79 (like the bb cream) I wish i could find there bb cream so easily somewhere !!
Okay... Now that i have got that out of my system ;) Lets talk about this liner.I would love to share with you some info from the box but as everything is in Korean(i an guessing), you'll just have to make do with pictures

:)
My thoughts:
  • Love the packaging:)

  • Good , intense black color.
  • Not a matte finish, which is a problem for me(but easily remedied with some black eye shadow)

  • Water proof(this is a guess on my part as i cant read the labels on the box,but i swatched it and held my hand under water,it stayed in its place)

  • Watery consistency but dries quickly.
  • Easy to handle.

  • I hate the wand! Its hard and stiff.I couldn't draw a straight line with it even if my life depended on it(literally)
  • My advise , use your own eyeliner brush.

  • It has 6 ml of product.Which considering that i paid Rs 245 for it , is not bad.
  • Stays on without primer for 4-5 hours.

  • Washes away easily with simple soap and water.
  • All in all,it was more of an impulse buy and i am not disappointed with it.

The above two pics are "with flash" which ironically has washed out the pictures ;)
Do i recommend it? Well yes.At least try it once. What have you got to lose? ;)
Repurchase? May be.

Etude Real Loose Powder

I usually prefer using a loose powder rather than a powder compact over foundation , as i find it easier to blend.I bought this loose powder a while back. And to be very honest, my reason for buying it was that  i just fell in love with the packaging :)

Product Specifics:
ETUDE real loose powder
Shade : clear ivory
Quantity: 18g/0.61oz
Made in Korea
Available in Pakistan.
Cost: Rs 250 (around 2-3$)

My thoughts:
I just use it around my T-zone to keep it matte and oil free , using a fluffy face brush or a kabuki brush.
Its matte,no shine at all.Which is a plus in my book as i am not a big fan of overly shiny or shimmering face.Powder has some color to it.I got it in shade "clear ivory" but it suits my complexion and blends clear. It smells "divine" :) i cant really describe the scent. Its not floral but it reminds me of how my moms cosmetics used to smell when i played with them as a little girl (may be that s why i like the scent so much).

There is alot of product in the jar so it will last me a long time(no complains). Not expansive at all. Easily available almost all over Karachi.Good oil control.Lasts for 2-3 hrz in this heat( i would like to mention here that my T-zone gets very oily,so if you have dry /normal skin this will work for a longer period of time)

Do i recommend it:  Yes.It is a good affordable product.
Will i buy it again: As soon as i run out of this one(which is not going to be anytime soon)
Hope this helped:) Feel free to comment.
Till next time...........

Pakistani wedding(Jewellery)

If there is anything that us Pakistani's can do better than anyone in the world, its got to be weddings:)
I totally LOVE shopping for a wedding. All that color and glitter and beautiful stuff just speaks to the girly girl hidden inside me ;)
My brother is getting married in a few months so these days i am all about wedding shopping. In that spirit i am going to do a series of posts on wedding stuff (like jewelery, clothes, shoes, mehandi etc).I also wanted to do one about locations and event organizers and beauty salons but that will be too location specific.
Today's post is going to be all about jewelery.Weddings call for heavy accessories. As not many people wear gold these days due to limitations of money and design. artificial jewelery market in Pakistan is thriving. These days Kundan stuff is all the rage.
If you know where to shop , there is something for everyone.Something simple as a necklace and earings can totally transform your look :)

You can get stuff for all occasions like mehandi etc.The color of the stones matching your particular outfit.

Prices for artificial jewelery range from 500 to 2000- 3000 Pkr.Depends on what you are looking for and how ornate it is.It also depends on location as well.Better to buy it from places like tariq road , saddar , gulf market, where you can get your moneys worth :)

Bangles and bracelets are another way you can spice up your look without too much effort. There are new and old both kind of designs available in the market.I personally prefer the more traditional take in jewelery design.

Than there is silver jewelery that has been gold plated. This is more expensive as compared to other types.Going for anywhere from 10,000 to 15000 pkr for a full set.

Hair accessories, rings, ornate pins to hold your dupatta in place ;)

Hope you liked this post.I wanted to list prices below each item but i cant seem to remember what everything cost :) As always feel free to comment if you have any questions.I am no expert but i will  share my experiences with you:)
