NOTD (Colorstudio Professionals "Crackle White"

Name:Crackle White
Brand: Colorstudio pro
Website: www.colorstudiopro.com
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ColorStudioProfessional
Price: Rs 350

I am not a big fan of the "crackle" effect but as it is the new thing in Pakistan in terms of nail polishes, i appreciate the fact that we can experience these products thanks to Color studio.Off course there are always brands like OPI if you are willing to fork over the dough ;) But  not everyone can afford to pay Rs 900+ for a nail polish.
Out of the two crackle polishes by Colorstudio, i much prefer the black one to this one in white.I don't like the way it applies. The cracks formed are not big enough so they obscure the base coat , no matter how dark it is.The formula too has sort of a chalky consistency to it and the brush is no too thick (so when you apply it the brush doesn't spread the polish to the edges of your nails in the first go & you end up with a strip of crackle right down the middle of you nails)
This one i am sorry to say is not one of my favorites from Color studio.Have you tried this polish? What do you think of it? Please share your experiences and techniques in terms of application etc in the comments below:)May be i am doing something wrong.

  1. I'm not a huge fan of craclkle polishes too. Especially the black one tends to give off a reptilian effect. A friend gave me an OPI gold shatter which isn't bad. Especially when applied over hot pink or turquoise. I like applying it horizontally and with very little polish on the brush. If too much polish is on the brush before application, the crackle tends to overshadow the base color. Thanks for the review.

I agree about the gold ones being better.I entertained the idea of getting a gold shatter from O.P.I for a while but .....i think i am over the whole shatter/crackle thing ;)
