Garnier Skin Naturals Fairness Facewash

Since Garnier has become available locally in Pakistan , a wide range of its products have flooded the market. The most prominent ones being from the "fairness" range .We got to try this face wash purely by luck because we got this one instead when we ran out of our regular Clean & clear.

It says all the right stuff , if you go by the details at the back of the tube. What could be better than a face wash that will take away the dull & dark areas of the skin. Also it has Pure lemon essence , which is always a good thing.

The face wash it self is white in color, almost like shaving cream .The fragrance is not bad or overpowering. It is affordable ( Pkr 115 i believe) and if you buy from a place like Chase store , you may even get it on discount. With all that is going for it , it didn't really work for us.Neither i nor my sister found the product satisfying . My issue was that it dried my skin (esp the T-zone). After using it my skin felt stretchy and even applying moisturizer didn't take away the feeling completely. And there were some pimples on the cheeks as well.Which is such a shame as i really wanted this one to work.

Pro's:
  • Affordable
  • Easily available
  • Contains Lemon essence
  • Dermatologically tested
Con's:
  • Drying
  • Caused skin to breakout
  • Noticed no change in fairness of skin.
I am not saying this wont work for other people but it did not work for us . If some one has already used this product , do share your experiences below in the comments.
Till next time.....
