E.l.f eye brushes

I got these two e.l.f eye brushes a while back but i didn't want to review them before i tried them a few times first. I must confess that this is my first purchase from e.l.f brushes and I was really looking forward to the experience.I got two , a blending brush & a smudge brush.

First of, sorry for being invisible on the blog for the last few weeks.Due to a combination of work related stress & exam prep, we've both been incredibly busy.Some thing had to give and unfortunately our blog was the victim in this instance ;)

MUA Eye shade no. 19 Matte

I LOVE "matte" eyeshades.They are so versatile and totally adaptable.No chunky glitter or unnecessary sheen to deal with.When i decided to buy MUA eyeshades i got one in matte as well , just to test out the formula. I got the one in no.19 because i wanted to get something that will work as a good crease color as well.

MUA eye shade no. 14 Pearl

As you all know , we recently hauled some MUA goodies.I was most excited to try their single eye shadows , as i have read a lot of good reviews on them , from fellow bloggers and my favorite youtube guru as well.
I got two of them , one matte and one pearl. just to see how they are in terms of application , pigmentation and over all quality :)

Becute "stay on" eye liner pencil

Becute is one of the more affordable brands available on local beauty counters here in Karachi. I have tried their nail polishes , liners and lipsticks in the past.For the price , i don't have anything bad to say about the quality of these products.A few months back i randomly picked these two eye liners just to see how they would work....

So to celebrate , we have come up with this special EOTD :)

EOTD (black & brown)

This is my first attempt at a cut crease "eye of the day". It takes a bit more precision than i was able to muster ;) But practice makes perfect , and i'll keep trying until i get the hang of it :) What do you think?

I have been wanting this palette since i started building up my make up collection.And finally i am the proud owner of a shiny , new 88 matte palette by BH cosmetics:)

EOTD (Olive Green)

This look was intended for a competition i took part in.But being a "likes" based event (on facebook) i don't have a big chance of winning ;) So instead i a posting it here as my "New year EOTD". Both colors used are from the Sleek Au naturale i divine palette.After looking at the pics i think i should have used a a 3rd color(crease , may be a brown)..... What do you think?

EOTD (Twilight)

I saw someone on youtube doing this eye of the day.And i really liked it.I have tried to recreate it as close to the original as possible but due to lack of exact color matches (and my level of skill), it looks slightly different from the intended look.I guess mine turned out more smokey and dark.
