Summer Makeup Essentials

  
Summer is the time for new beginnings and a complete change in skin care priorities.Where winter is all about moisture and keeping the dry and damaged skin at bay , summer is about going light and not trying so hard :-)
Summers here in Karachi are all about sunshine (sometimes brutally so) . Oily T zones , acne and sun burns become the disasters to avoid by anyone who cares about their skin.
Below i have compiled a list of all the products that i use on a daily basis during summer months.My priority is nice looking , hydrated skin.

MUA Makeup Academy Mosaic Bronzer "natural Glow"

 

Believe it or not but this is the first bronzer i have owned  .Previously i either did not contour or used a blush or an eye shade to get the job done.But since i have seen a lot of fellow bloggers doing such a great job with contouring, i thought i should take it a bit more seriously  ;-)

My "go to" lipsticks this summer

I am not very adventurous when it comes to lip colors , gravitating more toward pinks and browns and pastels. Its fun to wear a bright and bold "statement" on your lip once in a while but i think for every day colors nudes work with most occasions and outfits.For this summer these are the lipsticks that i have been using the most:

The Revlon one toward the very end is the "bold exception " to the rest of my relatively safe choices.I am thinking of adding a "Fuchsia pink " to the group as well :)Whats your "most reached for color" this summer?

MUA Lipstick Shade 5

 

The one thing i am always apprehensive about buying online (when it comes to cosmetics) is Lipsticks.I cant help my self usually and i always end up buying something but it never turns out to be quite what i expected;)

MUA Eye shade no. 19 Matte

I LOVE "matte" eyeshades.They are so versatile and totally adaptable.No chunky glitter or unnecessary sheen to deal with.When i decided to buy MUA eyeshades i got one in matte as well , just to test out the formula. I got the one in no.19 because i wanted to get something that will work as a good crease color as well.
